How paid links work

ExpatWhy is operated by DUOPORE VENTURES PTE. LTD., Singapore. We may earn a commission when you book, buy, sign up or request a quote through a paid link. Each placement identifies the provider and describes the commission relationship beside the link. This page supplements that disclosure; a general footer notice is not a substitute for identifying an advertisement where you see it.

Current paid-link providers

There are currently no active paid-link partnerships on this site. Ordinary source and provider links can still appear without a commission arrangement.

Rates and qualifying actions depend on the actual agreement and may change. The commission depends on the provider and the qualifying action. A listed provider may appear only on relevant pages.

Your choice and the provider's terms

You can visit a provider directly instead. We do not add our own fee merely because you follow a paid link; provider prices, discounts and eligibility can vary. Compare the actual offer. Any purchase is with the named provider, under its pricing, cancellation, refund and privacy terms. We are not the insurer, bank, visa authority or travel supplier.

Editorial independence and sponsorship

Our editorial policy is to keep commission arrangements separate from city scores and verdicts. Affiliate availability is not evidence that a product suits every reader. Sponsored content must be labelled as sponsored at the placement. A commercial placement should not be read as a claim that we have personally tested the provider.

Privacy

We do not load affiliate tracking pixels merely to display a card. Following a paid link can send referral and connection information to the destination, whose cookie and privacy choices then apply.
