frequently asked
Quick answers.
- Why is Bangalore so high?
- Bangalore has an exceptionally active OSM mapping community, so even small coworking venues end up tagged. The same number for Bali or Medellín is probably 3-5× under-counted because the mapping density is lower there.
- How wide is the search area?
- Bounding box of ±0.1° latitude/longitude around the city center, ~11 km half-side. Big enough to catch neighborhood clusters, small enough to exclude commuter towns.
- When was this last refreshed?
- Each city page shows the OSM query date in the Coworking card. The pipeline can be re-run any time, Overpass is free, ODbL-licensed.
